TRICK-OR-TREAT! HALLOWE'EN SPOOKTACULAR GETS ALL DRESSED UP!

Our rambunctious little in-house trick-or-treater trio has been opening our 'Hallowe'en Spooktacular' show and delighting audiences for quite a few years, now, but did you know the inspiration for their witch, devil and ghost costumes is tied to some pretty special Halloween history?

When Roddy, Clara and Fred were ready for their spooktacular makeovers, our design team took them to the early 1950's at a pivotal moment for the spooky season we know today! Keen eyes may recognize these costumes from Walt Disney Production's animated short, 'Trick or Treat', featuring Donald Duck and his nephews, Hughey, Dewey and Louie. This short has been accredited for helping re-popularize trick-or-treating in a post WWII America, and deterring the trouble-making "tricks" that were on an unruly incline. We think that's pretty important, seeing as it has shaped the aesthetic our whole show is based on (plus, we love the theme song!)! And now you know!
