In collaboration with Metro Art Presents, BBMT invites folks and friends of all ages to explore the wonderful world of Bob Baker's Los Angeles, fully online for the first time at www.BobBakerDay.com.
Digitally launching from historic Union Station on February 27th and viewable for one week only, the 7th Annual Bob Baker Day exists as an interactive digital map of the routes and networks that connect Los Angeles and connect BBMT to collaborators and friends.
An annual celebration of art, music, community, and of course, puppets, it has never been easier to explore LA through the lens of Bob Baker delight. As the city unfolds through the www.BobBakerDay.com platform, fun arises at every turn as viewers navigate an interactive map.
Featuring puppet shows, performances, activities, an online museum of puppetry, and community contributions, Bob Baker Day 2021 promises fun for all through an online carnival of inspiration and imagination.

Bob Baker was with us for 90 years (1924-2014) and in that time created the world you see around you when you visit the Theater. Bob Baker Day has grown to include so many friends, puppeteers, and fans young and old who were touched by Bob Baker’s work both during his lifetime and after. Today we recognize the incredible strength of his vision and celebrate those who still work to keep it going. Thank you, Bob Baker, for making Los Angeles a whole lot more enchanting. And thank YOU for celebrating with us!
