Horray L.A.

Hooray L.a.

In 1981, Bob Baker staged his love letter to Los Angeles.

With Alton Wood, King Hall, Roy Raymond and John Leland, Bob crafted what has been cited as a ‘masterpiece’ - an enduring portrait of the city entitled ‘LA OLE!’

Starting with song and dance in historic Olvera St. with dinosaurs and skeletons, all the way through the limelight of Hollywood! The show transports its audience with scenery crafted by John Leland and spectacular light effects designed by Richard Shuler. The shows brings life to the people and places of the city of Angels!

After 25 years without a public performance, the Bob Baker Marionette Theater is proud to once more present this fantastic production! Join us for this educational and entertaining extravaganza featuring 100s of Bob Baker’s hand crafted marionettes that wiggle and shake to make you giggle and applaud.

For a limited time only, experience the 1933 Earthquake, the development of the LA freeways, the arrival of radio - all is its most entertaining form – through a puppet show.
