As part of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater’s first original production in over 40 years, Choo Choo Revue marks a monumental new chapter for the historic “living theater.” Join the creative team behind this ambitious new work for a behind-the-scenes conversation on the making of the show, from early sketches and puppet fabrication to storytelling, music, staging, and preserving a beloved art form for a new generation. Featuring over 100 brand-new handcrafted puppets, Choo Choo Revue transforms the audience into passengers on a fantastical train ride through imagination, community, and joy. The talk will explore the collaborative process behind bringing this landmark production to life, and what it means to create the future of puppetry at BBMT.
