Take Home Curricula & Activities for
Continued Learning & Fun!

Perfect for both the classroom and at home, learn along, create art, and explore the fundamentals of art education and more in the BBMT show-based curricula below.

Created by Allisón Chalco, an LAUSD art educator, these new curricula companions and lesson guides foster hands-on learning that connects our shows to core standards on art, representation, social justice, history, and more.

These teacher friendly curricula are perfect for K-12 learners with lesson plans centered on CA Art Standards, The Learning for Justice Anti-Bias Framework Social Justice Standards (Spanish Translation), and are meant to be adapted to your specific grade level.

We’re excited to continue this work throughout all our shows, offering educational workshops in our Puppet Parlors, and curriculum offerings to local schools and beyond as part of our nonprofit mission!

¡FIESTA! Curriculum + Activities

Learn about our re-imagined ¡FIESTA! show and the history of Latin American art!

These lessons and activities support learners in making deeper connections with the wonderful world of puppetry and Latine culture and art! The curriculum will engage students in the four artistic processes of visual arts, creating, presenting, responding, and connecting, as well as the four domains of anti-bias education:
Identity, Diversity, Justice, and Action.
