Retro pop culture humorist and historian Charles Phoenix celebrates the story and glory of the world’s greatest palace of puppetry, museum of marionettes, and castle of creativity. (BBMT note: These are Charles’s words, not our own, but we’ll sure take them! You’re too kind, Charles!)

With his unbridled enthusiasm, keen expertise, and eagle-eye for oddball detail, Charles pays tribute to Bob Baker and his legacy with a slide “showette,” screening of a short documentary Charles made with Bob 20 years ago, and marionette show featuring a variety of time-honored acts spanning more than 60 years.

Ice cream will be served following this historic performance.
