The Trains of Griffith Park
with Hollywood Entertainment

Saturday, June 20
Doors: 7 PM / Show: 7:30 PM
Tickets: $20

Full steam ahead for a very special evening paying tribute to Los Angeles’ greatest hometown trains—our neighbors in Griffith Park!

The Park is home to an incredible array of trains and has hosted iconic onscreen visitors like Columbo, The Monkees, The Brady Bunch, Foreigner, Warren Beatty and Kenneth Mars, TJ Hooker, Chuck Norris, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Steve Martin, Ringo Starr and his best friend Jason Woliner, Don “The Dragon” Wilson, and, of course, Huell Howser. Who knows which of these stars will be on the big screen during this thrill ride? Only your ticket to ride will tell you!

Plus a special preview of BBMT’s brand-new locomotive extravaganza, Choo Choo Revue!

Hollywood Entertainment will pay tribute with selections from film and TV set among the park’s trains, and we'll hear from representatives of the park's titans: the Travel Town Museum and the Los Angeles Live Steamers Railroad Museum!

Please note, this screening is recommended for ages 13+

About the Series

Hollywood Entertainment x Bob Baker Marionette Theater present a film programming residency. With each event inspired by the themes of classic and current Bob Baker Marionette shows (The circus! A day on the farm! A magical train ride!), take your imagination on a journey through rare and unavailable films and special events with filmmakers, guests, performers, and more.

About Hollywood Entertainment

Hollywood Entertainment was created to entertain and educate filmgoers by screening and preserving eclectic, underseen, non-commercial, rare, and socially beneficial films and film-related artifacts. The non-profit organization evolved out of Moviepassed, a near-daily stream of online movie watching that began in April 2020.
