The ultimate LA fantasy rolls into Bob Baker Marionette Theater to celebrate Hooray LA! Patricia Ward Kelly, Gene Kelly's wife and biographer, will join us in person for an introduction to this very special screening of Xanadu. Plus, our friends at Moxi Skates will be in the house showing off and handing out swag!

A sparkling roller-disco and synth-rock tale of Gods, Glitz, and Gene Kelly, Xanadu is a quirky musical romp set to the pop perfection sounds of Electric Light Orchestra, the movie’s iconic muse/star Olivia Newton John, and The Tubes!

Bathed in pastel and glitter, ONJ stars as a heaven-sent muse who brings together a frustrated artist (Michael Beck) and a clarinet-playing song-and-dance man (Gene Kelly in his delightful final performance) to open the most beatific neon roller skating heaven Los Angeles (and all over the world) has ever seen.
